I think you do have to be proactive in keeping yourself from getting trapped in a very small bubble. My own mother doesn't really have friends outside of church and family for years and it made her world very small. She's branching out now and it's bringing her some peace.

I definitely understand your 90% answer. The term feminist is a weighted word and you have to be careful what you label yourself. I hope our whimsical logo and friendly community will help the overall feminist community at some point. That's a lofty goal, I know, but I've always been a dreamer.

About Me:: I'm a joyfully married mother-of-one daughter (so far). I'm a Christian. I don't work outside the home since giving birth - I love full-time mothering. I'm a huge proponent of natural childbirth and the Bradley Method. I try to live an environment-conscious life, and I want to stay engaged with "the world outside" and serve/love people well (and not be wrapped up too tightly in a religious or family bubble that excludes others). In becoming a mother, I think I finally found my calling in life.
