Today is International Women's Day. How is everyone celebrating? I have to wait until Monday to "celebrate," but I'm sending money to our local women's shelter to help offset the cost of food, toiletries, etc.
Also, how do you feel about the lack of widespread publicity of the day in the US?

Even Prime minister Gordon Brown got involved, unfortunately his governments budget didn't reflect the poor in the UK (with the top earners now paying the same tax as there cleaners).
And talking of ActionAid, there is a new campaign in the UK, which highlights the concern over cheap products being sold in UK stores, by such companies as Tesco and Asda (Walmart), which I donned a (virtual) silly suit to promote, which I have posted here.
